How to make a giver ? (new !)

You want to add a giver to give objects to user ? Easy to do !

Fist you must have a functional seat.

In each configmultisit you must add a section"button" like that :

@button
Giver|1231|PRIM

You can choose another channel number.

You add the script giver :

You must create this script. The code is there.

You can change the parameters in this script :

Now you get a new button in the menu :

And when you click on it you get the objects menu :

Easy !!!

How to have a default animation ?

The default animation is the first animation in setup order. So this is the first in the setupmultisit notecard. For example in this notecard :

setupmultisit method

You can change this order to get another default animation. For example :

Laying_Arm_Across_M@-12,-7,125@0,0,90
Laying_Makeout_M@-19,0,133@0,0,90
Laying_Pinned_Kiss_M@-19,0,130@0,0,90

In this case the default animation is "Laying_Neck_Kiss_M".

You always must reset the script multisit to make the change effective when you change the notecard setupmultisit.

configmultisit method

You also can change the default animation in the configmultisit notecard. Just create a @list section and add the animation name :

@list
Laying_Neck_Kiss_M

It is simplier !

In this method you dont have to reset the script multisit but you must increment the @version section.

What is the section version in the notes ?

The section version in the notes configmultisit and configmanager is a management information that prevents the script to read the notes at every change in inventory. If the version number has not changed the script does not read the note. If the version number has increased, the script reads the note. In a system with many scripts and notes that precaution is very useful.

First time the version number is 1 :

Next time the number is 2 :

@version
2

Next time the version is 3 :

@version
3

and so on...

If you change something in a note and nothing happen dont forget to look at this section !

How to change location name ?

By default locations are numbered from 1 to maximum number of locations. If you want to get more explicit buttons name for locations you must inform sections mode and words in the note configmanager :

There are many ways to command an external script.

Command an external script on animation change

If you want to command an external script on animation change you must inform the section command in the note configmultisit :

The possibilities for the target are :

PRIM (the script is in the same primitive)
OBJECT (the script is in the same object)
SAY (the script is in another object within a radius of 20 meters)
SHOUT (the script is in another object within a radius of 100 meters)
REGION (the script is in another object in the same region)

For example :

@command
2300|PRIM

The script is in the same primitive and listen to the channel 2300.

When an animation changes the animation name is sent on this channel like this :

PRIM -> llMessageLinked(LINK_THIS, channel, animation_name, NULL_KEY);
OBJECT -> llMessageLinked(LINK_SET, channel, animation_name, NULL_KEY);
SAY -> llSay(channel, animation_name);
SHOUT -> llShout(channel, animation_name);

How to synchronise animations ?

If you have multiple avatars you may want to synchronize their animations. To do this we must inform the note configmultisit for each avatar.

Avatar who sends a synchronization

You must create a section synchro in the note configmultisit :

anim1|anim2 (anim1 of this avatar commands anim2 of the other avatar)
anim3|anim4 (anim3 of this avatar commands anim4 of the other avatar)

If you have little animations your dialog box will be simple. But if you have many animations it makes sense to group them by categories. Suppose you have these animations :

You want to group them by categories. You must inform the section group in the note configmultisit :

The syntax is simple : the group name begin with the sign "!", and you put after it all the animations of this group, and so on...

How to create a sequence ?

A sequence is a sequence of animations which follow a certain pattern. You must inform the section sequence in the note configmultisit :

Each line contains the value in seconds of the delay for corresponding animation.You must have all values of timing that you have animations ! So if you have 3 animations you must have 3 lines of delay, one for each animation. Otherwise you'll get a script error !

If no specific order is imposed the animations order is the setup order. If you want a specific order you must inform the section list of the note configmultisit :

@list
anim1
anim2
...

You do not have to put all the animations in this list. Those that appear in this list will be at the beginning of the series of animations.

By default, animations are in setup order. If you want to change this order you must inform the note configmultisit.

Random order

Random order is possible only for modes 4 (change on click), 5 (fixed delay) and 6 (random delay). You must inform the section order in the note configmultisit :

Fixed order

If you want a fixed order you must inform the section list of the note configmultisit :

You do not have to put all the animations in this list. Those that appear in this list will be at the beginning of the series of animations.

Another way to change animations order

You can also change animations order by changing the setup order in the notecard setupmultisit.

Imagine you have this setup :

You can change order by changing lines order. For example :

But you must reset the script multisit if you want it to work !

With this method you get a faster initialisation because notecard configmultisit is shorter.

How to change the animation after a delay ?

By default, you get a dialog box to change animation. If you want to change this function and change animation after a delay you must create a section mode in the note configmultisit :

Fixed delay

To get a fixed delay between all animations you must have the mode number 5 and you must fill the section temp with the value of the delay :

In this case the delay is 20 seconds. The default value is 10 seconds. So if you dont use the section temp the delay is always 10 seconds.

Random delay

To get a random delay between all animations you must have the mode number 6 and you must fill the section temprange with the range of the delay :

In this case the delay is between 20 seconds and 30 seconds. The default values are 5 seconds and 20 seconds. So if you dont use the section temprange the delay is always between 5 seconds and 20 seconds.
